Ziva explains that she was left bound and gagged by robbers but managed to wriggle out of the house and hop over. She asks to be untied but Zahn and her don’t have the best relationship. He’s been especially cross with her after she reported his shed to the HOA, requiring him to tear it down. He figures the damage is pretty much already done and there’s no harm in keeping her tied and gagged a while longer as revenge. He thinks the police will look at their history and assume whatever she says is just an attempt to smear him. Ziva is in disbelief as he crams a sponge in her mouth and smooths a 4-inch strip of black electrical tape over her lips. After fondling and tickling her, he leaves Ziva to continue her struggles. Poor Ziva didn’t think this night could get any worse.
