Two female police officers are sent on a routine noise complaint call that ends up being anything but routine. They stumble onto a man who had just robbed a bank. He puts them through an ordeal that neither had ever anticipated when they signed on to the police department.
Sgt. Rachel Adams and Sr. Officer Brianne Blu work for the Metro Police Department and have been partners for some time now. Adams is in her office checking the computer when Blu arrives. She's late again. She apologizes and explains that she needs her morning coffee before she can function and that's why she's late. This has happened before so Adams isn't surprised.
They talk about how it's been slow lately and that the calls are really a waist of time and police resources. Not worth the trouble. Just then the phone rings and they get an assignment-noise complaint, just the type of thing that they were just talking about.
Just as that is happening, the bad guy has just robbed a bank and gotten away clean. He arrives home to count his money. The partners have also arrived at this address, a hotel with many rooms and apartments to check. They agree to split up to find the noise so they can take care of it and get out of there. They have better things to do.
