Bluebird infiltrates Killscape’s lair, uncovering his plan to trigger earthquakes and profit from the city’s destruction. Confident in stopping him, she confronts Killscape, but is betrayed by Wonderstrike, who now fights by his side. A brutal fight ensues, with Wonderstrike landing heavy hits and raking Bluebird’s eyes before delivering a powerful Wonder-blast, knocking Bluebird out cold. Though Bluebird briefly recovers and KO’s Wonderstrike with a flurry of kicks, Killscape traps her inside, locking the doors and overpowering her with blasts and an arm lock. Outnumbered and weakened, Bluebird endures a two-on-one assault, including electric shocks and vicious post-KO kicks from Wonderstrike. With no hope of escape, Bluebird is finally KO’d again. Killscape uses a Redstone to place both heroines in a mind-controlling trance, rendering Bluebird helpless as his prisoner, unable to stop his devastating earthquake plot while under his complete control.
