Rey is delighted, but also a bit puzzled because James urged her to pack her bags immediately. They’ll leave as soon as he gets home. Rey is a little worried, as she knows that her boyfriend has had a troubled history with the law and has been involved with a criminal gang. Her suspicions, unfortunately, are well-founded.


Someone rings the doorbell, but it isn’t James. It’s a masked thug, Tony, who grabs her without ceremony and covers her mouth with a handgag. He’s here for the money—the money that James stole with his accomplices and kept after they were arrested. Now, they’re out of jail, and they’ve tracked down his girlfriend to use her as collateral to get the money back.


As the criminal explains these things to the terrified girl, he begins to bind her with duct tape, wrapping it around her hands, elbows, body, and legs until she’s tightly trussed up. He also silences her by stuffing a sponge in her mouth and sealing her lips shut. He then carries her into the kitchen and leaves her alone for a while.


Rey struggles, trying hard to escape, but she can do very little. The tape is tight and unyielding. She attempts to reach for a blade to cut it, and when she manages to open the drawer, the thug returns.


She’s ungagged and interrogated about when her boyfriend will arrive. Despite her fear, she refuses to cooperate and fights back with words. Tony loses his patience, but before he acts, his partner, Raimondo, arrives. He has a better idea to compel James to show up.


Now James knows he’ll lose her if he doesn’t come through. Will he finally arrive with the money?


Minutes pass, but he doesn’t show up. Now, Rey must pay the price for her boyfriend’s cowardice. We see her wrapped in a blanket and carried to the car for her final destination. Things look bleak for her—unless someone rescues her. Who knows?
