Throughout the actual scene we see Rachel Adams in a modern white-walled room, kneeling on the mat of a bondage frame, wearing a black chemise over lacy panties. Her arms, rope-tied at the elbows and wrists, are connected in intricate knots and lifted up behind her and secured to the top of the frame, which we cannot see. Her ankles are also bound and she is barefoot. As Rachel rotates around helplessly on her knees, drool from her ball-gagged lips dripping to the floor, our FP camera moves around and observes every detail of her ordeal. And then perhaps your mind will wander back to the historical eras when strappado was frequently used for judicial punishment, and you’ll begin to imagine yourself as a cruel nobleman who is disciplining one of his subjects–and the white walls of the room, in your mind’s eye, transform into dank dungeon bricks in your castle…
