How could this have happened? Her job was putting criminals away behind bars, NOT ending up captured by them!!! So much for a simple open and shut case. Our story follows District Attorney Jess Harrington coming off the biggest (and quite possibly) the most dangerous case of her career!!!

With the help of the Borderland Police Department (BPD), Jess and her aggressive legal team managed to arrest and convict the well-known shady casino manager Fletcher Poppinoff and his crew of illegal firearms Fletcher had been arms-running for several months now, secretly dealing out firearms to street gangs in other cities in exchange for large amounts of cash, exercising his power as a profitable dealer. But through a clever sting operation, Jess and the BPD were able to act on one of his deals as it was going down. This gave them the leverage and evidence they needed to put him and most of his entourage away for a long time. The few remaining members have scattered about the city but have warrants out for their arrests. Not to mention Jess was one of the few attorneys brave enough to prosecute the prick in court!!!

Having wrapped up the case at the courthouse earlier in the day, Jess had requested her friend... Special Agent Axa Jay, to her safely back home due to the large crowd that was swarming outside. Axa assisted Jess with the recent sting operation and was happy to comply.

The scene begins with Jess arriving at her house with Axa following behind. Jess invites her in for a quick drink as they sit on the couch to relax. They get busy chatting about the case when both ladies are abruptly interrupted by a loud thumping noise coming from an upstairs room. Axa treads upstairs to investigate and orders Jess to stay down below and wait. She comes across a bedroom with several men's neckties and rope scattered over the bed. She moves in to have a closer look when a masked figure pounces on her from behind and quickly disarms her. Brutally hand-gagged, Axa is easily overpowered by the intruder.

Calling out to her friend from down below, Jess gets no answer back. She slowly creeps up the stairs to find Axa in the clutches of the unknown offender. He orders both ladies onto the bed while he ties up their hands. The deranged lunatic reveals himself as none other than Sinclair... Mr. Poppinoff's top right-hand man. The way he sees it, Jess and her team put HIS boss away for a long time in prison, so HE will put HER and her special agent friend AWAY for good by disposing of their bodies in the nearby sewer!!!! The squirming beauties immediately start to protest but Sinclair shuts them up fast when he deeply stuffs each of their mouths with a handkerchief and wraps neckties tightly around their mouths. He then heads downstairs to fetch more rope from his car around the back alley.

Sinclair quickly returns just as the struggling damsels are trying to make a break down the stairs. Halting their escape attempt, he decides to move them to a more secure area. He hustles Jess away downstairs into an office room and sits her down onto the swivel chair, securing her arms over the back of the seat. He returns next for Axa and does the same to her in the other chair.
