Echo follows a lead into an abandoned factory, dreaming of glory, but instead finds herself hopelessly outmatched by Nemesis. Her speed and defiance mean nothing against his overwhelming power. Beaten down again and again, she is stripped of her mask, her boots, and her pride. Each KO leaves her weaker, more desperate, until all that remains is a broken heroine enduring merciless domination, powerless to prevent her looming fate.
Echo steps into the factory believing she’s on the verge of her first great triumph, but instead walks into a nightmare engineered by Nemesis. From the outset, her crisp attacks glance harmlessly off him, her defiance answered with brutal slams, bone-rattling strikes, and casual knockouts. Her attempts to use her powers are brushed aside with cruel ease, Nemesis mocking her every effort. As the beating escalates, he pulls away her mask, exposing her identity for all to see, and later removes her boots, reducing the proud heroine to something helpless and humiliated. Each time she staggers back to her feet, Nemesis methodically crushes her resolve, throttling her, choking her, leaving her limp and groggy. What began as a bid to prove herself becomes a lesson in futility, her ordeal dragging her toward a cruel destiny that not even her courage can hold back.
