"Please, oh God, no...don't do this," she pleaded, her voice riddled with terror as she gazed up at her captor. But the cold, hardened eyes of the Black Mask showed no mercy. Instead, he reached for the first rubber band, slowly stretching it out and preparing to snap it against Gwen's sole. But first.. A ballgag.

White-hot agony lanced through her foot as the band made contact, Gwen's body convulsing in a reflexive scream that was effectively silenced by the ball gag filling her mouth. Tears streamed down her face as the pain throbbed through her, the torment intensifying with each snap. The other foot was subjected to the same cruel treatment, the Black Mask's heavy hand deliberately stretching the band farther this time, ensuring Gwen would feel every searing jolt.

Despite her efforts to wriggle free, the thorough bindings held Gwen fast, trapping her in helpless despair as the agonizing sensations wracked her body. Who could possibly hear her muffled cries or come to her rescue now? The thought of enduring this level of torment alone, at the hands of a sadistic villain, filled her with horror.

As the rubber bands continued to snap against her vulnerable soles, Gwen's mind reeled with the question of what she could have possibly done to deserve such cruelty. Was it her heroics, or perhaps her smart mouth that had enraged the Black Mask? Or was this an act of pure, unadulterated evil, meant to assert his dominance over a helpless, trapped opponent? Whatever his motivations, one thing was certain: Gwen was at the mercy of a mad man, and her Spider heroism seemed powerless to save her from this excruciating fate.
