Lauren Rice and Scarlett Rose stood side by side, handcuffed next to each other, their arms stretched above their heads and clipped to a wooden structure. The midday sun glinted off the metal cuffs, casting dramatic sparkles across their slightly confused expressions.


Both were dressed in matching white t-shirts — now clinging just a little too tightly thanks to the ocean breeze — and brightly bikinis that screamed “We were just here to tan!” not “We’re about to get pressure-washed.”

A high-powered jet of water blasted, catching them both square in the torso. The white t-shirts, valiant in their effort to remain opaque, immediately surrendered. The fabric clung to every curve, outlining bikini straps, startled laughter, and a whole lot of regret.


Scarlett, now dripping but somehow still smirking, leaned toward Lauren.


The jet wash finally died down, leaving the two soaked, shivering, and sparkly clean — except for their pride.
