Captain Liberty is on the trail of an escaped convict known as the Watcher... Far from being 'on the run' though, he has laid an elaborate trap for the Captain that will force her to choose between her team and the safety of the public she is sworn to protect. Worse still, he is capturing her imprisonment on his camcorder for posterity, he is planning to destroy her mind and move on to new victims once he has.
In our first ever Halloween Special, Captain Liberty is on the trail of an escaped convict called ‘The Watcher’, she’s tracked him to a dark lair, but finds immediately she is the one being watched by him. A poison dart later and she must fight in a weakened state. Once KO’d, she is chained like an animal while he films her with his old-fashioned camcorder, and made to play his twisted games. Members of the public in her beloved city are unwittingly relying on her to give up the identities of her superheroine team-mates, or face dire consequences. Can she place her friends in the same situation? Is the Watcher bluffing? Worse is to come as an innocuous chloro rag is laced with something truly demonic that will change Captain Liberty forever.
