Once he has her hands tied behind her back, Katie is able to escape his grasp and starts running to the door. But the man is able to grab her and drag her back to the chair. He then quickly ties her ankles together so she cannot run off again. Using a couple hundred feet of rope, the man finishes trussing Katie up. Just before leaving Katie, the man tells her to be quiet or he will come back and gag her. But no sooner than he walks out, Katie starts screaming at the top of her lungs for, "Help!" The man comes rushing back in. He roughly stuffs a large wad of cloth in Katie's open mouth and the ties a thick rag very tightly between her teeth to gag her. When the man leaves her again, Katie struggles wildly to get loose. She continues to cry out through the gag.
