Dave refuses, pointing out that she would not have to do so much overtime if she was not so slow at her job. Jamie is outraged, and in the heat of the moment tells Dave that maybe he should not have let her handle his personal accounts because she now knows about his dirty little secrets. Dave leaves the room leaving Jamie quietly fuming. She believes he has gone to get his checkbook to bribe her to keep quiet, but instead he returns and ties her up with duct tape, securing her wrists and ankles before he attempts to gag her. Jamie tries to fight him off but there is nothing she can do to stop him applying several strips of very sticky duct tape over her mouth. After Dave leaves the room, wondering what he is going to do about this troublesome secretary, Jamie works her way over to the iron wood stove and begins sawing at the tape binding her wrists on the corner of one of the stove's legs. She works furiously, aware that she must escape before Dave decides to take more drastic action. Just when she thinks the tape will never part, it finally does! She ungags herself and unwraps the tape binding her ankles, then makes a run for her car. Alas, Dave is already there, planning to move her vehicle somewhere more discrete. He takes Jamie back to the house, makes her remove her blouse and put on a sexy sweater and a pair of boots, then ties her to a chair and cleave gags her. Once again, Jamie does her best to escape, but the ropes are tight and she can’t reach anything that might help her.
