Before calling the police to have the girl arrested, Cadence wants to make sure that this thief cannot just leave and evade the police. She grabs some duct tape and sets about taping up Jasmine's wrists, ankles, and thighs, before silencing her with a duct tape gag. Leaving her captive alone while she goes to call the cops proves to be a mistake, however, because Jasmine is not done for yet. She fights with the tape in an effort to get free, and when that is unsuccessful, she starts looking for something to cut through the duct tape. She searches a number of drawers and comes across a pair of scissors. She manages to cut herself free, but rather than just run away, she decides to turn the tables on the woman who tied her up. She finds Cadence in her office and grabs her, subjecting her to duct tape on wrists, ankles and thighs, exactly how she was treated. She tape gags Cadence, and then lifts her onto a chair, deciding to use more tape to secure her to the chair and prevent her moving around. After all, she doesn't want Cadence to use the same escape method as herself. Soon, the cops arrive and Jasmine answers the door as if this were her home. She tells the policeman who enters the property that Cadence was trying to steal her possession, and that she managed to overpower her and tape her up so that she would still be here when the police arrived. The cop is impressed and suspects nothing. When Jasmine asks if it would be okay if she went out and sat in her car to recover from her ordeal, he lets her go and turns his attention to Cadence. Because of her gag, she cannot protest and tell the cop what has actually happened.
