科拉躺在床上。床头柜上的手机震动着，一条条短信涌入。她终于起身，神情焦虑地拿起手机。打开一看，屏幕上密密麻麻地显示着信息。科拉从一个“朋友”那里偷了一大笔钱，现在这个朋友已经报警了。朋友劝她自首，否则警察迟早会来抓她。

科拉打电话给警察局，果然，他们确实有逮捕令。他们让她待在原地，警察很快就会来接她。她照做了，等待着被逮捕。一阵敲门声响起，警察来了。科拉一边穿鞋一边跳进门。警察进屋后，立刻让她面壁站立，接受搜身。然后，他让她系好鞋带，给她戴上手铐，把她带出了房子。

在监狱里，科拉被要求坐在长凳上，双手仍然被铐在背后。镜头多次特写她被铐住的手腕，她坐在那里，时刻受到监控摄像头的监视，焦急地等待着下一步的安排。最终，一名狱警叫住了科拉，并将她带到一间房间进行审讯和登记。狱警更换了科拉的手铐，使她的双手放在身前，然后让她在一张桌子旁坐下，狱警坐在她对面。他查看了她的案卷，然后开始询问她与朋友的关系以及被盗的钱款。科拉一言不发，立即要求见律师。狱警回答说：“好的，那就去登记入狱吧。”

狱警戴上一副蓝色检查手套，然后拿出指纹纸和印泥。狱警抓住科拉的手腕，将她的每个手指按在印泥上，然后再按在指纹纸上。指纹采集完毕后，手铐被短暂解开，科拉被要求再次将双手背到身后，然后手铐又被重新戴上。

第二天早上，科拉被狱警叫醒，狱警命令她起床去出庭。她被带回处理室，那里已经为她准备了一套橙白相间的条纹囚服。狱警解开了她的脚镣，让她换上新衣服。然后，她被戴上了腰链、手铐和脚镣。她的双手被反铐在背后，腰链进一步限制了她的逃跑能力。接下来，我们看到科拉出现在法庭上。科拉泪流满面地向法官恳求，她的律师在镜头外为她辩护。不幸的是，法官并没有被她可怜的表现所打动，判处她10年州立监狱监禁。

在视频的最后部分，我们看到了20分钟的镜头，记录了科拉回到牢房后逐渐适应的过程。她来回踱步，望着牢房外的铁栏杆，躺在床上，挣扎着想要挣脱仍然束缚着她的锁链。Kora is in her bed. On her bedside table, her phone vibrates as text after text comes in. She finally gets up, looking stressed she grabs her phone. She opens it to a wall of messages. Kora has stolen a very large sum of money from a 'friend' and now that friend has called the police on her. Her friend tells her to turn herself in, because if she doesn't they'll just come and get her anyway.

Kora calls in to the police station, and sure enough they have an active warrant. They tell her to stay put, and officer will come pick her up soon. She complies, and waits to get arrested. With a knock at the door, the police officer arrives. Kora hops over still getting her shoes on. He comes inside and she's immediately made to stand facing the wall to be pat down. Then he let's her finish tying her shoes before putting her in handcuffs and bringing her out of the house.

At the jail Kora is made to sit down on a bench with her hands still cuffed behind her back. We see many closeups of her cuffed wrists as she sits constantly monitored by a security camera, and anxiously awaiting what's next.Kora is eventually called on by an officer and taken to a room for interrogation and intake. The officer changes Kora's handcuffs so that her hands are now in front of her, then she is sat down at a table and the officer sits across from her. He looks over her case file and then begins to question her about her relationship with her friend, and the stolen money. Kora isn't talking though, she asks for a lawyer immediately. Fine then, the officer replies. It's time to move on to intake and book her in as an inmate.

The officer puts on a pair of blue exam gloves, and then brings out a finger print paper and ink pad. Kora is held by the wrists as the officer presses each of her fingers onto the ink, and then onto the paper. After the prints are done, the handcuffs come off for a second, Kora is made to put her hands behind her back again, and the cuffs are re-applied.


Kora wakes up the next morning to guard ordering her to get up for court. She is taken back out to a processing room where an orange and white stripped prison uniform is waiting for her. She is released form the chains and made to dress into her new clothes. Then she has a waist chain, handcuffs, and shackles applied. Her hands are cuffed behind her back with the waist chain making escape all the more impossible. We next see Kora in a court room. Kora rather tearfully pleads with a judge and then her lawyer speaks in her defense off screen. Unfortunately the judge is not moved by her rather pathetic display, and sentences her to 10 years in state prison.

In the final part of this video we see 20 minutes of coverage as Kora gets comfortable back her cell. She paces, looks out the bars, lays on her bed, and struggle against the chains that still hav
