Following directly from ‘Bait Backfires’, Supreme Sentinel goes to visit the now controversial Wonderstrike who has aligned herself with Seth Evervale. Wonderstrike tries to convince Supreme Sentinel to join the ‘Natural’ cause against the rising threat of synthetic power. When Sentinel won’t commit, Seth takes over, eventually becoming enraged and attacking Sentinel. The only thing worse than a ‘synth’ is a ‘natural’ that turns against her own in his view, and she must be destroyed. Wonderstrike can’t allow it, and in moments she is the one under real threat from the furious Evervale. Will disaster befall the heroines?
