至少,她苦涩地想,现在她有了一个非常好的旷工借口。Adele is getting ready for what she expects to be another boring day of work. As she prepares to leave, she hears a knock at the door. Thinking nothing of it, she opens—only to find a masked man standing on her doorstep.
He calmly thanks her for opening.
Before she can react, he steps forward and clamps a hand over her mouth. Adele freezes in shock as he pushes his way inside.
Cut.
In the next scene, Adele is already being restrained. The masked man efficiently tapes her wrists behind her back, then wraps layers of tape around her waist to secure her arms in place. He obliges her to sit, continuing his work—binding her arms, chest, and legs tightly with more tape.
Panicked, Adele protests, demanding to know what he wants.
The man replies with unsettling calm: he just needs a quiet place to stay while he does some “work” in the neighboring apartments. If she behaves, he won’t harm her—and he won’t be long.
To ensure her silence, he seals her mouth with a gray tape gag and leaves her there, struggling, while he moves through the house.
Alone, Adele refuses to give up. She squirms and twists, trying to free herself despite how tightly she’s been taped. With great effort, she attempts to reach a nearby drawer—remembering she might have left a pair of scissors there.
But just as she gets close, the burglar returns.
Deciding she’s too much of a risk, he tightens her restraints further. This time, he puts her onto the floor and secures her in a hogtie, reinforcing everything. He replaces her gag with a more restrictive wraparound tape gag, stuffing material inside before sealing it tight.
Now Adele can barely move—only muffled sounds escape her.
All she can do is hope the intruder finishes quickly and leaves.
Eventually, he returns, satisfied. He has completed his sweep of the building, robbing several apartments. Before leaving, he tightens her hogtie even more and blindfolds her with layers of tape, ensuring she won’t escape anytime soon.
Then he’s gone.
Adele lies there in silence, unable to see, barely able to move—left alone to struggle.
As the reality settles in, she realizes she may be stuck like this for hours… at least until the maid comes back.
At least, she thinks bitterly, she now has a very good excuse for missing work.
