瑞秋沮丧地摔上了电话，经过一整夜的电话，她放弃了。是时候去坐牢了。

瑞秋穿上一件橙白相间的条纹囚服。她背部和腿部的字样表明着她的身份：卑尔根县监狱 - 囚犯。

她被拍照，正式进入监狱系统。她将被视为囚犯，并在可预见的未来一直待在监狱里。这很可能是她失去自由的最后一点，下一个目的地将是监狱，而且很可能是漫长的牢狱之灾。不过，她的案件尚未最终判决，所以一切皆有可能。然而，在瑞秋的脑海里，前景一片黯淡。当她扣上条纹囚服的扣子时，她只能想到，这就是她未来很长一段时间，或许是整个青春，都要穿着的衣服。

接待官命令瑞秋转身，面向墙壁，并将双手放在背后。他给她戴上一副老旧、表面有划痕的黑色手铐。然后，瑞秋被带出了接待室。Kora Summers is Rachel Moore, a kleptomaniac bad girl who had a fun spree of break and enters until she was caught in the act and arrested. Now Rachel sits in a downtown police holding cell, where she anxiously awaits the impending final chapter of her little moment of breaking bad. She sits alone in a cold cell furnished only with a wooden bench and a steel toilet. Her hoodie, belt, shoes, and socks have been taken, and she has been left barefoot handcuffed at the waist, and shackled behind bars.

In a small room with a table, a chair, and a black office phone, Moore is told to sit and make some calls. She needs to come up with $10,000 in bail money by the end of the night, or she will end up spending the night at the local jail as the newest inmate, and will stay there until her case goes to court or she bails out, but the real consequences have yet to begin.

She asks for her cellphone to look up some numbers, and then she starts to make calls. Most of her contacts just don't pick up. She speaks to one friend or perhaps some 'contact', all while monitored by the officer standing next to her and listening to her every word. Unfortunately it proves very difficult for Rachel to find someone to bail her out.

She rotates between passing time in the holding cell, and trying more calls in the little office room. She is allowed one hand free from her waist chain cuffs to make the calls, and access to her phone only when calling and looking for numbers. She tries some bail bond companies, but gets declined each time. None of the local companies will take her on. Eventually as a last resort she tries to call her step-father. Evidently Rachel does not have the greatest relationship with him, as he isn't willing to help either.

Rachel slams the phone down in frustration, and after a long night of making calls, she gives up. It's time to go to jail.


Rachel pulls on an orange and white striped jail jumpsuit. The lettering across her back and down her leg marks her: Bergen County Jail - Prisoner

She is photographed and enters the corrections system. She will be treated as an inmate, and reside in jail for the foreseeable future. Most likely this is the last bit of her freedom going away, and the next place will be prison for a very long time. Her court case is still to be determined though, so there is always a chance. Inside Rachel's head though the outlook is bleak. As she buttons up her stripped uniform jumpsuit she can only think this is the type of clothing she will be made to wear for a very long time, perhaps the rest of her youth.

The intake officer orders Rachel to turn, face the wall, and place her hands behind her back. He applies a pair of handcuffs with an old scratched black finish. Then Rachel is led out of the intake room.
