Sunny is home alone one evening, moving about her quiet kitchen when her cellphone suddenly rings. The number on the screen is unfamiliar, and uneasy about answering a call from someone she doesn’t recognize, she lets it go unanswered. Moments later, the phone rings again. Against her better judgment, Sunny picks up. On the other end, there is no voice—only slow, heavy breathing. Alarmed and disgusted, she snaps at the caller, warning them not to call again, and hangs up.
Almost immediately afterward, her phone buzzes with a text message. The sudden follow-up sends a chill through her, heightening her sense of being watched. Disturbed and wanting to put distance between herself and the situation, Sunny leaves the kitchen and retreats to her bedroom, hoping the familiar space will make her feel safer.
As she tries to calm down, she hears an unexpected noise nearby. Her heart pounding, she cautiously approaches her closet and opens the door. Without warning, a masked man emerges from inside. The shock leaves her no time to react.
The intruder overpowers Sunny and gets her tied up with duct tape and ball gagged in the kitchen, the same place where the night’s terror began. There, he keeps her restrained, trapping her in her own home as the sense of danger becomes fully real.
